Tonight at 11:34 EDT the moon reaches its perigee and within one minute it reaches its fullest. So I am testing a new superzoom camera. A gadget, a tiny box no bigger than a pack of cards can take a closeup of the moon. Not quite as good as Galileo's telescope, but interesting. The time reported on this blog is incorrect.
